A new boost for the central team
Ametller Origen, a company recognized for its dedication to fresh and quality processed products, has announced a significant salary increase for its central structure workers. This decision comes just months after another salary review that benefited store employees with an increase of more than 11%.
Salary increase details
The new increase, which will be implemented from January, will affect more than 300 professionals working at the Olèrdola and Barcelona headquarters. The information was made public during the recent convention held at the Teatre Casal in Vilafranca del Penedès, where the group’s management stressed the importance of these measures to promote the well-being of its employees.
A project with a vision for the future
The salary increase is part of the Roots Project, an initiative designed to promote professional growth within the company and respond to the expansion that Ametller Origen has experienced in recent years. With more than 4,500 workers, the company is positioned as the main one in the sector in Alt Penedès.
Investments and additional benefits
Ametller Origen is investing more than 3.1 million euros in salary compensation between 2024 and 2025, with annual reviews to adapt to market needs. In addition, the company has introduced several labor improvements, including free health insurance, nutrition services, discounts on different services, as well as teleworking options and flexible hours for office employees.
Commitment to staff
Josep Ametller, CEO and co-founder, emphasizes that it is essential to share the company’s success with its workers. “The Arrels Project is a tool to improve working conditions, guarantee competitiveness and strengthen ties with the community,” he says.
A stable and growing workforce
Currently, 98% of contracts at Ametller Origen are permanent, and it is expected that during 2024 more than 70% of vacancies will be covered by internal employees, thus encouraging internal promotion and professional growth within the company.
