A new vision of sports education

The Igualada Institution (Montclar-Mestral) and Iniesta Academy have decided to join forces to enhance a training model that goes beyond simple sports teaching. Both organisms are committed to forming full individuals, highlighting values ​​such as perseverance, collaboration and excellence.

The Academy of Iniesta comes to Catalonia

With this new agreement, the prestigious academy of former football player Andrés Iniesta will be installed at the facilities of the Igualada Institution and La Farga, thus expanding its reach in Catalonia. This will be the first time that the Academy has implemented an annual program in Spain, complementing its international offers such as clinicians and summer fields.

Weekly training and opening to all

Throughout the school year, weekly football technification sessions will be held, aimed at young people in the Benjamin, Aleví and Infantil categories. These activities are not only available to the students of the Igualada Institution, but also children from other schools and sports clubs in the area.

Alts Methodology

Iniesta Academy’s methodology is based on training that foster maximum performance, as well as the values ​​that have characterized Iniesta’s career. With the aim of presenting this innovative training proposal, a free clinician and a Summer Camp will be organized on Saturday, May 17, between 5.30pm and 7pm, for players in the younger categories.

Details of the Summer Camp

The participants of the Summer Camp will enjoy high quality facilities at the Igualada Institution on June 25, 26 and 27. The program includes transportation from Sant Cugat (La Farga) and weekly technification sessions that will begin from September.

Key aspects of the program

Each week, a 75 -minute training will be performed, with two shifts available according to the players’ categories, from 5.30pm to 8pm, oriented to Benjamin, Aleví and Infantil.

The collaboration between the Institution Igualada and Iniesta Academy seeks not only to train better footballers, but also to contribute to the personal growth of young athletes. This initiative is committed to developing comprehensive training that encompasses both the technical skills and the human dimensions of each player.
