A dream link in an idyllic setting
The recent wedding of Jordi Cruz, renowned chef and member of the Masterchef jury, with his partner, the Brazilian architect Rebecca Lima, was a spectacular event that captured the attention of many. Held this weekend in Blanes, the link has combined tradition with modernity, standing out for its festive and familiar atmosphere.
Religious ceremony with a special touch
The couple opted for a religious ceremony that was even more significant with the baptism of their one-year-old son Noah. With all the loved ones present, they made a request to the priest to include the little one in the celebration, a gesture that added an emotional touch to the event.
Unexpected delay but with surprises
Despite the bride’s late arrival, with the ceremony starting two hours later than planned, guests enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere. Chef Nandu Jubany offered a delicious appetizer and Jordi’s cousin entertained the wait with a live performance on the saxophone.
A feast worthy of a star chef
As you would expect at a wedding with a renowned chef, the menu was exquisite. Attendees were able to taste a coconut ceviche with white shrimp, followed by a fried lobster with potatoes and a fried egg. For dessert, a spectacular ‘chocolate galaxy’ was served, a dish that promised to be as visual as it was tasty.
A lively party with familiar faces
The wedding brought together a total of 180 guests, among whom there was no lack of personalities from the world of cooking and entertainment. Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez, Jordi’s companions in Masterchef, were seen at the arrival, as well as other public figures such as Álvaro Muñoz Escassi and Mario Vaquerizo.
Care of the little ones
In order to allow the parents to enjoy the celebration without worries, the newlyweds hired a babysitter service to look after the children of the guests during the ceremony and the party, a solution that was well received.
A honeymoon on the horizon
Despite the recent celebration, Jordi and Rebecca will have to wait for their honeymoon, as the recordings of the new season of Masterchef will keep them busy for a while. The chef has expressed a desire to travel to Japan once he has concluded this professional engagement, a destination that promises to be the start of a new adventure together.
