An unforgettable day: The Terrazel celebrates 35 years of culture and tradition

A birthday full of life and activities

This Saturday, the Terrazel of Sant Llorenç d’Hortons will be dressed in gala to commemorate a significant moment: its 35 years of existence. Founded in 1990, this emblematic space has been a pillar in the cultural life of the municipality, and to celebrate this milestone, a day has been organized full of activities for all audiences.

Morning Excursion and Creativity Workshop

The day will begin at 8 am with a hike that will lead participants to discover the landscapes that have inspired the Capgrossos of the Terrazel. This excursion will not only be an opportunity to enjoy nature, but also to connect with the history of the place.

At 11 am, Mossèn Comerma Square will become a learning and creativity space with workshops and crafts designed for all ages. At the same time, the immersive exhibition “The desire of 1990” will be inaugurated, where attendees will be able to explore the rich history of the Terrazel.

Remembering the beginnings: an unforgettable colloquium

At 12:30 pm, a special colloquium will bring together key figures that have witnessed the growth of the Terrazel. Ramón Moix, Amadeu Ferré, Neus Franci and Paton Soler will share their experiences, moderated by Eric Ollé, current president and one of the great promoters of this celebration.

The parade: a tradition of tradition

In the afternoon, at 19:30, the streets will be filled with color and music with the commemorative parade of the 35th anniversary. All the dances of the Terrazel, including giants, bestiary and devils, will parade to show the cultural richness of this party, which will culminate in an exhibition of dances in the Plaza del Terrazel, where the words of the Buscles will be heard in a long -awaited speech.

Night of parties and flavors

At 9:30 pm, the party will continue with a popular sausage on Paseo Marimon Llança, where the community will meet to enjoy a good meal. The music will take over at 11:00 pm with a dance of gralles by the group Els Quatrevents, followed by the DJ session of Lerouge Partysano, ensuring that the celebration ends with good foot.

A community event

Organized by the Friends of the Terrazel Association and the City Council of Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, this day will also be supported by local entities and businesses, reaffirming the aim of fostering popular participation and the community sentiment that has been in the heart of this celebration since its inception.
