A festival with deep roots
Xàtiva is transforming into the cultural nucleus of music and literature with the ninth edition of the Music and Lyrics Festival (MIL), which celebrates its enriching legacy. With a varied program, this festival is presented as a meeting place for lovers of art and poetry.
Andreu Valor: The Earth’s voice
Next Friday, May 23, at 8pm, the Gran Teatre will host Andreu Valor, one of the most prominent references in the Valencian author song. On this occasion, the singer -songwriter of the Costera region will present his new show entitled ‘A Mamar, all the verses!’, Dedicated to the poetic legacy of Vicent Andrés Estellés, coinciding with the centenary of his birth.
A musical tribute
Valor has selected a range of poems by Estellés and has given them music, fusing styles such as folk, pop and indie, accompanied by symphonic arrangements that promise to excite. Its ability to connect with the public through their music and their passion for language and culture are the core of this concert.
A Festival that celebrates the Memory
In addition to the value show, the festival also pays tribute to Ovidi Montllor, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of his death, with the slogan ‘Return the world again’. This edition stands out for its dedication to iconic figures of Valencian music, offering a platform to new artists.
