History and Elegance of the Pacha III
Pacha III is not just a yacht; she is a luxury legacy dating back to 1936. Built by renowned shipyard Camper & Nicholson, this 36-metre vessel began life as the property of Walter Crooke, a British military man. During World War II, the yacht was taken over by the British Royal Navy, but in 1989, she became a gift to Carolina from her late husband, Stefano Casiraghi.
A Name With Meaning
The name Pacha III is a tribute to Carolina and Stefano’s three children: Pierre, Andrea and Charlotte. Since acquiring it, the princess has made a significant investment in its restoration, devoting approximately three million euros to modernising its facilities while preserving its vintage 1930s essence.

The interior of Pacha III reflects Carolina’s exquisite attention to detail. The yacht features an elegant dining room, four staterooms, a fitted galley, a master suite and two cosy lounges, one of which features a Bayadere striped carpet. It also includes crew quarters, ensuring that everyone on board enjoys the utmost comfort.

The yacht’s décor evokes the aesthetic of the 1930s, with luxurious oak and mahogany finishes, panelled ceilings and nautical-style light fixtures.
