The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) ski resorts live a golden time during the winter season, thanks to the abundant snowfall that have turned the landscapes into true winter postcards. The new snowfall, accompanied by the constant effort of the technicians of the tracks, have created ideal conditions for skiers until Easter.
La Molina: An unmatched destination
La Molina, located in the heart of the Eastern Pyrenees, is an exceptional weekend with 100% of its operating tracks. Ski and snowboard lovers will enjoy 66 open tracks, offering a total of 71 skiing kilometers in optimum conditions.
Perfect conditions and competitions
The snowfall has recently contributed 15 to 25 cm of fresh snow, with accumulated thicknesses ranging from 50 to 140 cm. The weather forecast anticipates a weekend with sun times, guaranteeing unbeatable conditions for winter sports. In addition, La Molina will host the Catalan Alpine Ski Championships for young people, becoming the core of sports activity.
Boí Taüll: Extraordinary snowfall
The Boí Taüll station, in the Alta Ribagorça, celebrates the arrival of 140 cm of new snow, with more rainfall on the horizon. The work of the station teams says that visitors will enjoy a weekend with excellent conditions.
Activities and fun
With the plan to open 100% of the ski domain, skiers will be able to explore 10 ski lifts and 43 tracks that add 45 skiing kilometers. In addition, there will be various activities, such as the 17th Gerubs Trophy and a animated screw of the Fecoll, which promise a festive atmosphere.
Spot Ski and Port Ainé: a snow paradise
The Espot Ski and Port Ainé stations, located in Pallars Sobirà, live a dream season with snowfall that have left spectacular landscapes. Espot Ski has thickness of snow that vary between 70 and 145 cm, with 18 operational courts and the forecast to expand the offer throughout the weekend.
Guaranteed fun
Port Ainé, with thickness of snow ranging from 100 to 210 cm, continues to receive snowfall. With all the slopes open, including mountain skiing and snowshoe itineraries, the total reaches 25.6 skiing kilometers. In addition, a snowpark will be built over the weekend.
Vallter and Vall de Núria: Activities for everyone
Vallter, in Ripollès, joins the party with a weekend full of high quality activities and snow. With 80 cm of new snow, the station will open 13 tracks and 12.48 skiing kilometers. The Snow Festival, with activities for the whole family, promises to be a great attraction.
An active weekend
Vall de Núria, with 28 cm of new snow, offers 10 slopes and a total of 6.56 skiing kilometers. The Park will be fully operational and various activities have been prepared, such as the Fontalba Social Race and various workshops.
