A day dedicated to sports and diversity
An enthusiastic group of volunteers has joined forces to participate in a single sports day, the mini Olympics organized by the Auria Foundation. This initiative seeks to foster inclusion and social cohesion between people with disabilities, creating a space of fun and teamwork.
An event promoting volunteering
In the Central Park of Igualada, the event was attended by more than XX individuals, including users of the Foundation, family and professionals. CaixaBank volunteers have played an essential role, helping to coordinate activities and to ensure that all participants enjoy an inclusive and festive atmosphere.
The social month: a transformative initiative
The month of May marks the third edition of the ‘Social Month’, an initiative that mobilizes the employees of CaixaBank and the “la Caixa” Foundation in various solidarity activities. This year, the emphasis focuses on the support, education and support of vulnerable groups, adapting each action to the specific needs of the participants.
Awareness and social commitment
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of CaixaBank Volunteering, the aim of this initiative is to establish a deeper bond with the community, allowing volunteers to discover realities that are often hidden, and thus contribute to a more equitable society.

The ‘la Caixa’ Foundation’s commitment
In addition to the Olympics, the ‘La Caixa’ Foundation will support the Basketball Team Força Lleida, with the aim of transmitting the sporting values among the youngest, and collaborates with the Força Lleida Aspros team, composed of people with intellectual disabilities.

With two decades of experience, Volunteering CaixaBank has become one of the main volunteer initiatives in Spain. This organization includes employees, examples and citizens committed to the cause, all working together to improve the lives of vulnerable people.

In the last year, thanks to the collaboration with more than 2,500 social entities and the effort of more than 20,000 volunteers, Volunteering CaixaBank has positively impacted more than 433,000 people in Spain, through actions focused on education, digitalization and the environment.
