A Decade of Latin Rhythms
The vibrant city of Santa Cruz de La Palma is preparing to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the renowned Tropicana’s orchestra, an ensemble that has captivated Latin music lovers throughout the island.
Tribute to Musical Excellence
Under the auspices of the Santa Cruz de La Palma City Council, directed by Raico Arrocha, and with the support of the Culture Department of the Palma Cabildo, this concert will be a tribute to the extraordinary career of Tropicana’s.
Star Performances
The Plaza de Santo Domingo stage will host the Tropicana’s orchestra, made up of fifteen talented musicians, who will share the stage with other acclaimed groups from La Palma: Grupo Libertad, Tres de Caña and Saoco.
From Gran Canaria, the Arena group will join the celebration, along with former members of the legendary Salsaludando orchestra. The guest artist, Juan Manuel La Línea, will complete the stellar cast.

Over the years, Tropicana’s has delighted audiences at countless events, from Tenerife’s Santa Cruz Day Carnival to the Siete Islas festival in Fuerteventura. Their music has brought communities together, creating unforgettable memories.

On May 3, on the anniversary of the founding of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the music of Tropicana’s will resonate once again in the plaza, transporting attendees to a world of Latin rhythms and joy.
