A festive program full of activities
This Monday, the Vila-seca City Council, together with the Municipal Tourism Board, enthusiastically presented the program of Christmas activities that began last Sunday, December 1. With a total of 70 events scheduled, Mayor Pere Segura described this initiative as a great effort to offer a unique experience, full of art, concerts, cinema and theater, all around such a special time.
The Nativity Scene: A renewed classic
One of the big attractions this year is the 25th edition of the Sand Nativity Scene, which will be built in the Parc del Pinar de Perruquet. It is expected to be completely finished and open to the public from December 8. In this commemorative edition, the dimensions of the sculptures will be significantly larger, occupying 150 linear meters with the use of more than 500 m3 of sand, almost double that of previous editions.
The innovation of the Nomad Nadal
One of the most exciting additions this year is the first edition of Nomad Nadal, a traveling festival that will take place on December 14, 15, 21 and 22 in the same park. Visitors will be able to enjoy a Christmas market, a gastronomic area with food trucks, workshops, family shows and musical performances, as well as a charity musical bingo to help the victims of the storm in Valencia.
Traditions that endure
As every year, traditional elements will also have a prominent place. The artisan market will open its doors daily from 11:00 to 19:00, and on December 6 there will be a carol singing by the Cantaires de la Pineda and the Coral Nova Unió.
Activities for all ages
The Councilor for Culture, Manuela Moya, highlighted the diversity of the program, which seeks to attract all audiences, with special attention to the little ones. Among the novelties, the Christmas Fair organized by the Association of Businessmen and Traders of Vila-seca, scheduled for December 14 at Parc de la Riera, stands out.
Collecting cards for the Three Wise Men
One of the most anticipated moments of the holidays is the collection of letters for the Three Kings, which will take place on various dates and locations, including the Parc del Pinar and the Vila-seca Castle. Children will be able to deliver their letters at specific times during the month of December.
Un final d’any memorable
The New Year’s Eve celebration in Vila-seca promises to be spectacular, with a Sant Silvestre bath at noon and a youth party at the Municipal Pavilion at midnight. The program will culminate with the arrival of the Three Wise Men, who will tour the streets and offer an audiovisual show at the Castle, with the traditional cavalcade that will end with the delivery of gifts.
With such a varied program full of activities, Vila-seca is preparing to experience unforgettable Christmas celebrations, where magic, culture and tradition merge to offer a unique experience to residents and visitors.
