A new chapter for Clariana
On Sunday, March 30 at 12 noon, the neighbors of Clariana will live a special moment with the inauguration of a renewed space that includes both the social premises and the Plaza del Poble. The event will be attended by Olga Serra Luque, Deputy Delegate of Commerce and Consumption of the Diputación de Barcelona, as well as the Mayor Francesc Ferrer Alegre and the governing body of Argençola.
Revitalization through neighborhood commitment
This renewal is born in response to the requests of the residents, who have expressed the need to create a more cozy and functional environment. The works have been carried out with the aim of revitalizing the nucleus of Clariana, improving both the aesthetics and the functionality of the space.
Structural and environmental improvements
The works have addressed several essential aspects, such as the improvement of the sewerage network, which had severe deficiencies, as well as the installation of a new rainfall network that directs water to the river, thus reducing the humidity problems in the social premises. In addition, street grilles have been implemented to facilitate drainage and the future underground services have been planned.
A renewed and modern space
The pavement of the square has been completely renovated with stone strips, which provide a contemporary and harmonious finish with the landscape. A social premises protective structure has also been installed to prevent moisture from the street.
Transformation of the social premises
The social premises have experienced a comprehensive renewal, with a new tile and the replacement of the beating tiles. The pillars have been remodeled to offer a renewed image and access to the toilets has been improved. A new water channel has been created connected to the rainfall network, and the door that connects the premises with the beating has been replaced.
Cozy and bright space
The interior painting now has lighter shades, creating a brighter and more cozy atmosphere. In addition, the beating wood has received special treatment to ensure its long -term conservation.
Financing and costs
The realization of these improvements has been made possible by the support of the General Investment Program (PGI) of the Diputació de Barcelona, with a specific subsidy for the water network. The total cost of the works was € 126,326.17, a significant investment for the well -being of the community.
A look into the future
With this renewal, Clariana not only improves its infrastructure, but also strengthens the feeling of community among its neighbors. The new space will become a vital meeting point for future activities and events, marking the beginning of a new age for the village.
