A Look at the Retrospective Exhibition
Conxi Rosique, renowned artist, returns to Sant Feliu with an exhibition that captures the essence of her artistic career. Under the title “The balance of serenity”, this retrospective exhibition offers a unique insight into his artistic and pictorial evolution. With more than 126 works, this exhibition commissioned by the artists Valentín Lozano and Joaquín Hernández, is an unmissable opportunity to experience the profound artistic expression of Rosique.

Rosique describes her exhibition as an opportunity to restart the cycle of retrospectives, offering an immersion in her artistic research. His works, worked with various techniques and formats, reveal a symbiosis between his innate ability and skill acquired through study and practice. Through his non-figurative compositions worked in oil, with acrylics or with mixed ink, Rosique establishes codes of perception to create works with a personal imprint from rigor.

The exhibition offers a diverse view of Rosique’s works, from non-figurative compositions to Chinese ink works. Highlights include pieces such as “El Silenci del traç”, ceded to the City Council to form part of Sant Feliu’s cultural heritage. In addition, the artist incorporates texts inspired by the peace activist Thích Nhất Hạnh, accompanied by illustrations, bringing a unique dimension to his work.

In addition to her artistic production, Rosique has also contributed as a teacher specializing in visual and plastic education, co-author and illustrator of several didactic books, and member of the Cercle de Belles Arts de Sant Feliu. The Conxi Rosique exhibition will be open until next Sunday, April 28, with opening hours from Thursday to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of Palau Falguera.
