Lleida is preparing for Easter with a diverse cultural offer that promises to enrich the experience of both residents and visitors. The facilities of the Department of Culture will remain accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their usual exhibitions and activities.

Opening hours of museums and cultural spaces

During public holidays, the city’s museums will maintain their usual schedules, opening their doors on Friday morning and continuing with a program of activities throughout the weekend. As usual, the facilities will close on Easter Monday for weekly rest.

Highlights at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

At the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Morera), visitors can admire the exhibition ‘Arrels i Horizons’ until June 1. This exhibition presents a chronological journey through more than a century of art, highlighting significant works that reflect key moments in Catalan cultural history, with renowned contributions such as Jaume Morera and Xavier Gosé.

A new stage for the mulberry

Since its relocation to the Rambla de Ferran, El Morera has celebrated its first anniversary with a renewed program. The opening hours for Easter include Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a special open day on April 23, Sant Jordi’s Day.

The La Panera Art Center and the New Creations

The La Panera Art Center presents until May 25 the 13th Biennial of Art Leandre Cristòfol, with an exhibition that brings together the creations of 23 artists under the title ‘Extractivisms’. This proposal includes works by Isaac King and Carlos Bunga, who invite reflection on the relationship between human and nature.

A trip through the automotive industry

The Roda Roda Museum of the Automotive of Lleida offers a fascinating look at the world of vehicle, with temporary exhibitions that highlight emblematic models such as the PTV and the Siata Tarraco. Hydraulic Heritage and Local Culture
