Diocesan Meeting of Adolescents and Young People in Sant Feliu de Llobregat

A Meeting Full of Meaning

This event, in an afternoon format, brought together around eighty young people from all over the diocesan territory under the motto: “Called to be People!”. This meeting had a threefold purpose: to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the parish of Sant Llorenç, to celebrate 20 years of the bishopric and the diocesan Objective.

Moments of Reflection and Communion

The meeting began in the Church House with a greeting from Bishop Agustí Cortés and the new Youth Pastoral delegate, Mn. Josep Sellarés Young people were invited to reflect on fundamental questions such as their purpose, their calling and the source of that calling. This experience was an opportunity for fellowship and the growing spirituality of the attendees.

Conclusion With A Mission

The meeting culminated with a Eucharist presided over by Bishop Agustí and concelebrated by other members of the diocesan clergy. During the homily, the bishop encouraged the young people to embrace the call of the Lord and to follow him without fear. This meeting was a unique opportunity for the diocesan community to renew its commitment to the faith and mission of the Church.
