A Fair for the Academic Future
On March 20 and 21, the slaughterhouse will be the meeting point for the 13th edition of the Education Fair. With free and free access, this fair opens to those who seek information on educational options after compulsory education, both in the city and nationally.
Exhibitors and educational alternatives
With a prominent participation of 30 exhibitors, the fair will include 12 university institutions and 18 centers that offer various study options, such as training cycles, baccalaureate, initial vocational training (PFI), oppositions and language courses. Thus, attendees will be able to explore a wide range of academic alternatives.
Student Participation
The fair expects the attendance of more than 1,300 students from institutes in Igualada and the region, who will have the opportunity to get to know first -hand the options they have for their future training once their compulsory educational stage is over.
Personalized guidance for young people
The Councilor for Universities, Carlota Carner, together with other members of the consistory, has presented the fair, which will include a personalized orientation point. This space will have professionals from different areas of the City Council to provide support for academic and work issues.
Advisory Services
Attendees will be able to access information through the Employment Service on Academic and Professional Guidance, as well as the Kaserna Youth Information Point, which will address topics such as international mobility, health, leisure and emotional support.
Preparatory talks
Before the fair, on March 18, guidance talks for students and families will be held. One of them, entitled ‘Future professions. The business reality and the possibilities of the future ‘, will be held at 18h in La Kaserna, with the aim of better preparing visitors for the fair.
Registration and access
The talks are free and open to all, but it is necessary to register in advance through the official website of the fair. This edition will also include a reception session with an informative video to guide attendees in their academic decision -making.
