Discover La Seu d’Urgell: a new digital era for tourism

A Renewing Portal for Local Identity

La Seu d’Urgell has launched a new web platform that reflects the motto ‘Som la Seu d’Urgell’, a message that celebrates the cultural essence, rich history and traditions of the territory. With a modern and attractive design, this page provides easier and visual access to a wide range of tourist experiences.

Diversified experiences for all

Visitors can explore a range of activities categorized in six different topics: Som Cultura, Som Esport, Som Km0, Som Comerció, Som Natura and Som Tradition. Notable proposals include a visit to the medieval headquarters, the exciting altarpiece of Sant Ermengol, as well as events such as the Escanyabocs and the Fira de Sant Ermengol.

An immersive experience with the 360º headquarters

One of the most interesting new features is the La Seu 360º space, which allows users to make a virtual tour of the city, offering a first tasting of everything they can discover without having to move.

Inclusive Tourism: Access for everyone

With the aim of making tourism accessible to everyone, the new website includes a section dedicated to accessible tourism. This tool helps plan visits adapted to the needs of each person, ensuring that everyone can enjoy what the city offers.

Digital improvements for accessibility

In addition, the platform incorporates a system called User Way, which facilitates digital accessibility through various functions, such as text modification and contrasts for better reading.

A INTEGRAT CULTURAL RECURS

Tourists can also enrich their experience through a cultural agenda integrated on the web, which allows a better organization of the activities to be performed during their stay.

Practical information and satisfaction surveys

The new portal includes useful data on other tourism offices of the Alt Urgell Network, as well as information on how to reach the headquarters, both in public and private transport. In addition, a satisfaction survey has been incorporated to gather opinions that will help improve tourism experience.

A multilingual future

The website is currently available in Catalan, and work is underway on Spanish, French and English, with the aim of reaching a wider and more diverse audience.
