A boost for local culture
The City Council of Tortosa has recognized the festival as a key tool to position the city on the Catalan cultural map. Mayor Jordi Jordan said that the public was initially local, but now the arrival of visitors from different regions of the country is being observed.

One of the main objectives of the festival is to make piano music accessible to a wide spectrum of audiences. Thus, a varied program has been designed that covers genres such as classical music, jazz, flamenco and pop. Lombarte emphasized that “we want to surprise attendees who stroll through Tortosa with the discovery of a piano in each corner.”
Connection between artists and the public
The festival is also positioned as a space for connecting between emerging musicians and renowned professional. In this edition, about twenty artists have participated, including young talents and prestigious students such as the Liceu and the ESMUC. The closure was marked by the ‘Far de Broadway’ musical, presented by David Anglès, who captivated the audience.
