Exploring science: A unique experience in Tàrrega

Launch of an innovative initiative

This week, Tàrrega has been the scene of the beginning of ‘Science in the territory 2025’, an initiative promoted by the Science Section of the Institut d’Estudis Ilerdencs and the Center for Educational Resources of the Educational Services of Urgell. The program, which seeks to bring science closer to new generations, has been successfully started, gathering 110 high school students in their first session.

A journey through physics and chemistry

Blessed with the title ‘Physics Pop: Science available to everyone!’, This educational proposal directed by Anicet Cosialls presents itself as a fascinating adventure. In a dynamic and participatory environment, students explore how the laws of physics and chemistry can be not only interesting, but also fun.

Scheduled sessions and student participation

The initiative consists of three sessions, with the next scheduled for March 25 at the INS Lo Pla d’Urgell in Bellpuig, where the participation of 50 students is expected. The last session will take place on April 9 at the INS Ribera del Sió d’Agramunt, where another group of 50 students will meet. These encounters are more than simple classes; These are interactive experiences that foster scientific curiosity.

An educational experience that inspires

Through captivating experiments and spectacular demonstrations, participants not only learn about science, but also discover how to share this knowledge with their environment. Anicet Cosialls, an expert in the subject with a remarkable baggage in scientific dissemination, is committed to making science accessible and attractive to everyone.

The impact of Anicet Cosialls on Scientific Dissemination

With a solid training in chemical science and a career as a professor, Cosialls has devoted his life to arousing interest in science among young people. His participation in events such as Science in Action and Science on the street has left a significant imprint, with numerous demonstrations that have captivated various audiences. His commitment to education was recognized with the Catalunya Educació Prize in 2009, a testament to his impact.

Looking to the future

With the initial success of ‘Science in the territory 2025’, an exciting opportunity is presented to continue fostering interest in science in the region. This initiative not only educates, but also inspires a new generation of critical scientists and thinkers that can contribute to society with knowledge and passion for learning.
