A warm and welcoming welcome
It is a sunny day and we head to the La Tartareria restaurant, located in the lower part of Muntaner street, near Gran Vía and Plaza Universitat. Upon entering, we are greeted by Tere, the waitress, who welcomes us with a smile and guides us to our table. The atmosphere is cozy, with simple decor in brown tones and a detailed illustration on the wall depicting the process of making a tartare.
An exceptional culinary proposal
The menu offers us a lunch menu for €25 and two tasting menu options, which include a variety of exquisite starters and main dishes. The starters, including a fresh or grilled oyster, whet our appetite, while the tartares, both fish and meat, surprise with unique and fun flavor combinations.
Unforgettable culinary delights
The shrimp, sea bass, scallop and lemon fish tartars, each with its distinctive touch, transport us to a universe of infinite flavors. The experience culminates with beef tartares, presented in an innovative way on a potato millefeuille, and a second tartare with a powerful and crunchy flavor. Attentive and professional service adds value to the dining experience.
Exceptional desserts
Although time prevents us from enjoying the last dish, the desserts of strawberry semifreddo, granita and strawberry sorbet, as well as chocolate ganache, cream ice cream and coffee meringue, are a delight for the palate. These refreshing and exquisite desserts are the finishing touch to the experience at La Tartareria.
A chef with a vision of the future
The meal culminates with a meeting with the chef, Pedro Silva, who demonstrates his passion and skill in preparing the best tartares and desserts in the city. His innovative approach and talent promise a brilliant career in the culinary world.
