Innovation and collaboration: The 6th edition of Economy transforming ideas into reality

A day full of creativity on the ship

La Nau, Espai Jove, was the stage chosen for the celebration of the 6th edition of Econnect, a competition that has evolved into a Hackató format. This event took place of high -intensity hours, from 9.30 to 17:00, with an approach to collaboration and innovation. The participants, a group of 15 teams, had the opportunity to work on solutions that respond to a challenge posed by the Cooperativa La Gatera.

An impressive participation

More than 100 students from training and high school from various centers in the Alt Penedès participated in this day. Institutions such as the Eugeni d’Ors, the Alt Penedès, Milà and Fontanals, the Arsenal Municipal School of Vilafranca and the Sant Sadurní d’Anoia Intermunicipal School were represented, providing a diversity of talent and ideas.

Innovative solutions presented

The teams worked tirelessly, presenting their proposals to a jury who evaluated not only the viability, but also the social impact of the solutions offered. The winning project, called ‘Cultural Fusion’, emphasized for its idea of ​​a web platform that offers home service of La Gatera products. In addition, a second project that received recognition focused on community creation around the cooperative through a customer loyalty system.

Commitment to entrepreneurship

Econnect reaffirms his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, with the aim of implementing solutions that have a positive impact on society. This initiative is the result of the collaboration between the Economic and Education Services of the City of Vilafranca, the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​Coopsetània and the Pinnae Foundation, which was responsible for the awards ceremony.

Recognition and closing

The start of the event was marked by the welcome words of the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Miquel Medialdea, and the director of the Pinnae Foundation, Joan Melero. In the afternoon, the Mayor of Vilafranca, Francisco Romero, closed the event, highlighting the originality and talent of the students, as well as the innovative spirit they contributed to the activity.
