Agricultural schools as sustainability models
The 15 agricultural schools, spread throughout Catalonia, aim to become examples of sustainability in education. Specific actions and positive results
Since its implantation, schools have carried out multiple initiatives to promote sustainability. One of the most significant has been the installation of photovoltaic solar panels, an action that began in June 2022 with the participation of several schools such as the EA d’Alfarràs and the EA Tàrrega. So far, 11 centers have adopted this measure, betting on a model of energy self -consumption and renewable energy.
Carbon imprint reduction

Looking to the future
The XXII Quality Day in Teaching has been a platform to recognize and promote the efforts of agricultural schools, which are positioned as references in the integration of sustainability with education. By 2025, the Agri -Food Training and Agricultural Training provides for an integrated management system that involves the 15 schools and central services, thus improving the efficiency and coordination between the centers.
