A Historical Moment
Isona Passola marks a precedent in the history of the Ateneu Barcelonès, as she is the first woman to hold the presidency during the 145 years of existence of the entity. This milestone emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and diversity in cultural leadership.
The new board and its goals
The new Board of Directors of Isona Passola is made up of prominent figures such as Lluïsa Julià, Ricard Faura and Pedro Santos, among others. Passola has expressed its intention to launch a management model that resonates with the current challenges of the country.
An uninarily management model
The strategy proposed by Passola seeks to adapt the Ateneo to contemporary reality, addressing issues such as the promotion of the Catalan language and the integration of cultural diversity. “Our model must serve to strengthen the bonds with the new Catalans,” said the president.
A reflection on the future
Passola emphasized that, despite the changes, the cultural quality of the Ateneu will not be committed. “Our goal is for this model to be extended to other entities of civil society,” he concluded.
Collaboration wishes
On the other hand, Jordi Casassas has expressed his wishes of good governance to the new board, waiting for his management to be beneficial to the Ateneu Barcelonès. This opens the door to a positive collaboration for the benefit of the institution.
