Unprecedented police deployment
A massive operation carried out by the Mossos d’Esquadra, in collaboration with other security forces, has led to the arrest of 105 individuals in a period of 24 hours. This action, known as the Kanpai Plan, was held between April 4 and 5, covering Barcelona, Badalona and Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Significant data of the operation
In addition to the arrests, 330 administrative complaints have been imposed and criminal investigations have been started against 60 people. Authorities have also seized 13 scooters and stolen motorcycle, thus showing a firm commitment to crime and multi -incidence.
Exhaustive control at various points
A thousand agents have been mobilized to establish strategic controls on streets, roads, public transport and airport. This action has not only addressed the crime problem, but also identified several criminals in nightlife venues.
Focus at the M7 Club disco
The M7 Club nightclub, located in Poble-sec, has been one of the most controversial points of the operation. In a coordinated action, agents detained nine people during the morning, after a previous meeting between the police units.
Inspection and arrests during the party
At two o’clock in the morning, the Mossos d’Esquadra, together with labor inspectors, took part in the establishment where more than 200 people danced to the rhythm of electronic music. Agents interrupted the party, asking attendees to raise their hands, and identified 230 people, resulting in 85 complaints by illegal possession of substances.
Confiscated substances and prohibited weapons
Among the confiscated substances were marijuana, MDMA, cocaine, liquid ecstasy and ketamine. The arrests included seven men and two women, with charges of public health crimes and a particular case of a security guard who carried an extensible metal defense.
Reactivation of the premises and future plans
After verifying that the nightclub complied with the current regulations, the authorities allowed the activity to be re -raised. The sub -inspector Xavi de Moner has described the operation as a success and has announced that these devices will continue to be implemented on a regular basis to guarantee citizen security.
