La Canonja celebrates 15 years of independence with parties and reflections

On April 15, La Canonja is preparing to commemorate an important milestone: its first 15 years as an independent municipality. This event marks a journey full of changes and growth, reflecting the essence of a community that has been able to build its identity in the Camp de Tarragona.

Municipal Party: A diversified program

In order to celebrate this anniversary, the City Council has organized the Municipal Festival, an event that will be extended from April 11 to April 15. The program includes a wide variety of activities designed for the whole family, with live music, shows, local gastronomy and living spaces. These days are not only an opportunity to enjoy, but also to unite the community in a festive atmosphere.

Taking advantage of this celebration, there has been a review of the advances that the Canonja has experienced since 2010, the year in which it gained its administrative independence. In these years, the municipality has experienced significant growth in various fields, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, fostering economic development and preserving its cultural heritage.

Currently, La Canonja has established itself as a cultural reference within the Camp de Tarragona, with emblematic spaces such as the Municipal Theater Orfeó Canongí and the new Mammuhuhuts space, which will open soon.
