A comprehensive plan for conciliation and co-responsibility
La Rioja has joined the Co-Responsible Plan, an initiative that promotes the reconciliation of personal, family and work life from a focus on equality between men and women. This plan, financed with 3.08 million euros, aims to promote co-responsibility and the creation of quality employment in the care sector.
News and improvements in the 2024 Co-Responsible Plan
The Co-Responsible Plan has incorporated significant new features in its 2024 edition. Among them, the inclusion of graduates in Early Childhood and Primary Education as professional profiles for hiring stands out, as well as the prioritization of single-parent families as recipients of the measures.
In addition, a system for justifying actions has been implemented through specific software that establishes age ranges for recipients, from 0 to 16 years old.
Eligible actions
The Joint Responsibility Plan contemplates a wide range of eligible actions, including:
- – Individual home care services
Benefits for Rioja families
In 2023, the Co-Responsible Plan benefited a total of 5,309 minors between 2 and 16 years old, belonging to 3,830 Rioja families. It is important to highlight that the same minor could use more than one service and that a family could benefit from several benefits.
Among the benefited families, 46.9% are within the established priority groups, such as families with unemployed women.
Town councils and associations involved
In 2021, 31 municipalities joined the Co-Responsible Plan with 45 projects. In 2022, the figure increased to 57 municipalities with 78 projects. In 2023, there were 83 councils with 107 actions.
For the 2024 edition, projects may be justified from October 15, 2023 to October 14, 2024.
