Live the Summer: Leisure options in the city

Deferred leisure activities

Due to the unexpected rain last Saturday, the concert of Jesús Lara & Cía and Second Coming had to be postponed. Despite this, leisure activities continue throughout the summer in the city.

Special programming of the City Council

The Culture Department of the Alcoi City Council has prepared a special program to offer various leisure options during the summer in the city. This program includes a variety of activities for all tastes and ages.

ADDA Symphony concert

On Friday July 12, the ADDA Symphony will perform at the Teatre Calderón under the direction of Josep Vicent. They will perform works by Márquez, Piazzolla, Falla and Ravel. The performance will start at 8pm.

Musical Exchange Concerts Campaign

On Sunday 14 July, the Barxell Group of Sweets and Tabals from Alcoi and the Colla El Cocó Dolçaines and Tabals from Alicante will offer the XXI Campaign of Musical Exchange Concerts at the Glorieta Park in Alcoi at 12pm. In the evening, the Alcoi Musical Union Society will hold a concert at the Amando Blanquer Auditorium.

Performance of the Serpis Musical Group

On Saturday 20 July, the Serpis Musical Group of Alcoi will offer a performance at the Amando Blanquer Auditorium.

Concert of Oller and Guerra

On Friday 26 July, as part of the SomRiu Cycle of the Commonwealth of Alcoià and El Comtat, the Oller i Guerra concert will take place in Ca Na Lloba.

Last performance of Viu l’Estiu

On Sunday, September 22, Alcoi’s Unió Musical Society, together with the Sant Jordi Dance Group, will offer the last performance in this year’s Viu l’Estiu program.

Fes(t)barri: Activities for young people

This program also includes the appointments organized by the Youth Council, known as ‘Fes(t)barri’. These activities are intended for young people and will be held in different neighborhoods of the city. The dates and locations of the appointments are as follows:

July 13: Center-Viaducte-Solicam

July 20: Baradello-Sargento-Montesol-Barxell

August 24: Batoi

September 7: Eixample-Santa Rosa-Els Clots
