Tropical Storm Alberto has surprised experts and citizens alike due to its formation before the official start of hurricane season. Although the season traditionally starts on June 1, Alberto has marked an early and potentially active start. Mario Picazo, recognized for his expertise in meteorology and his ability to communicate climate risks, has emphasized the importance of taking this storm seriously, as it could be an indication of a particularly active season.

Tropical Storm Alberto is characterized by its rapid development and its still uncertain trajectory. According to the latest reports from the National Hurricane Center (NHC), the storm has sustained winds of 85 km/h and is moving in a northwesterly direction at a speed of 20 km/h. Impact of the storm in different states
The arrival of Tropical Storm Alberto will bring torrential rains, strong winds and possible formations of waterspouts in several regions of the country. Torrential rains are expected in Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatán, while Oaxaca and Veracruz will face intense rains. In addition, gusts of wind and waves are forecast on the coasts of Quintana Roo and Yucatán, with possible waterspouts.
