Mental health in San Andrés y Sauces: an urgent priority

The City Council and the Senator join forces

Senator Kilian Sánchez and the mayor of San Andrés y Sauces, Francisco Paz, have met to address the needs of the municipality, including the mental health project.

A vital project for the island

Senator Sánchez has highlighted the importance of launching the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Day Center and Night Unit, a project designed in the previous legislature and financed by the Ministry of Health.

This project is crucial to care for mental health patients in La Palma, offering a comprehensive and specialized service.

The City Council, committed to health

The San Andrés y Sauces City Council has provided the facilities for the project and has shown its commitment to the mental health of its neighbors.

Senator Sánchez thanked the mayor for his welcome and expressed his willingness to collaborate from the Upper House to promote this project.
