Modifications to the Municipal Ordinance Regulating fords in Sóller

More opportunities for home owners in Sóller

The City Council of Sóller has announced this week that modifications have been made to the Guals Regulatory Municipal Ordinance. From now on, the owners of a house in the municipality will have the opportunity to park in front of their ford for free, regardless of whether they are registered in Sóller or not. This new measure seeks to offer more comfort to owners and improve accessibility in the municipality.

Changes in the number of cards per family

Another important modification is the change in the number of cards per family unit. Until now, each family could apply for a maximum of three cards. With the new modifications, it is possible to apply for a fourth card for elderly people with a degree of dependency or for carers. This change aims to provide better support to people who need assistance and facilitate their mobility in the municipality.

Benefits for the community

These modifications to the Guals Regulatory Municipal Ordinance aim to improve the quality of life of the residents of Sóller. With the expansion of parking opportunities in front of the fords and the increase in the number of cards per family, the aim is to facilitate mobility and reduce access barriers to the municipality. These measures are an example of the City Council’s interest in responding to the needs of the community and improving coexistence in Sóller.
