Muro boosts trade with the ‘Good Christmas’ initiative

An Investment for an Active Christmas

With the aim of reactivating the local economy during the holidays, the Provincial Council of Alicante has approved a subsidy of 142,174 euros for the ‘Good Christmas’ campaign. This initiative will allow the residents of Muro to purchase bonds of different values, with a maximum of 200 euros per person.

Details of the Campaign

From November 11, citizens over the age of 18 will be able to buy bonds with values of 10, 20, 50, 100, 150 and 200 euros, paying only half of their cost. This means that, for example, a €200 voucher will only cost the user €100.

Conditions of Participation

The purchased vouchers can be used until December 8 in any of the establishments that have joined this campaign. This includes a wide range of businesses, from clothing stores to beauty services, repairs, and even restaurants and the Municipal Market.

Benefits for the Community

The councilor for Economic Promotion, Saül Serrano, has highlighted the importance of this campaign to promote local commerce. He stated that previous initiatives have been very well received, with more and more businesses interested in participating. “Our goal is that both the residents of Muro and those of neighboring towns shop here,” he commented.

A Responsible Purchase

Serrano has urged citizens to make conscious use of the bonds, suggesting that they plan their purchases to maximize the impact of this initiative. Thus, the aim is for the bonds to reach a wider number of people, benefiting the wider community.
