A space for youth innovation
Escaldes-Engordany is preparing to host a new edition of the talent of visual and visual arts, a competition designed to promote creativity among young people in the parish. From this Monday, the Youth Space opens its doors to registrations for this event that already celebrates its ninth edition.
Participation and categories
The competition is intended for young people between the ages of 12 and 30, who will be divided into two categories: the first for participants from 12 to 17 years old and the second for those of 18 to 30 years. Each category includes up to three artistic disciplines: drawing and painting, digital and audiovisual creations, as well as sculpture and engraving.
Attractive prizes
The winners will enjoy significant prizes, with 250 euros for the first prize and 100 euros for the second in the youth category, while in the upper category, the prizes amounted to 400 euros and 200 euros respectively.
A Musical message
This edition of the talent has an innovative theme: participants will have to choose a musical piece of their choice as an inspiration for their work, which will be presented in the selected artistic discipline.
Voting and exposure
In addition to the assessment of the jury, which will take into account aspects such as the technique, originality and expressiveness, the public can also participate in the voting process, both in the exhibition spaces and through social networks, the which will favor greater interaction with the works presented.
Dates Clau
The works will be exhibited first on the social networks of the Youth Space and the Borda de Cal Paleta from March 17, and later, from May 11 to 19, they can be visited in the Youth Space. The final verdict with the winners will be announced on April 11.
Registration and deadlines
All those interested in participating must formalize their registration through the web www.e-e.ad before February 23. Artistic creations must be delivered to the Youth Space before March 10, an opportunity for all young people who want to show their talent and creativity.
