A New Beginning for the Colla
The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls has closed a cycle of deep reflection with the designation of a new management team for the 2025 season. The recently celebrated Extraordinary Assembly gave the Green Light to the proposal of Francesc Inglès, known as the Cabra Quico, who will assume the role of gang leader, while Marc Paris will occupy the presidency.
Objectives and aspirations
With this generational change, members of the gang operating on Carrer d’en Gassó sign up for a new stage marked by the desire to maintain excellence and face new challenges. Its main objective is to consolidate the collective values and the constant overcoming that they have defined their career.
Calendar of activities and debut
The season will begin on Saturday, April 5 in the Plaça del Pla de la Seu de Tarragona, as part of the day of start of the season of the castellera group of Sant Pere and Sant Pau. The calendar, which is still awaiting some details, includes outstanding performances such as the Festa Major de Constantí on July 26 and the Martyrs Street Day in Vilafranca del Penedès on August 2, despite the loss of some significant dates such as the Vilanova Festival and the Santa Teresa Day in Vendrell.
Challenges and goals for the new gang leader
Francesc Inglès, with a great dose of motivation, is determined to overcome the results of last season. He has delinked a plan with several milestones, among which the first basic castles of eight in Vilanova for Sant Jordi, the introduction of nine -story castles in La Selva del Camp and a prominent performance on the courtyard day, with the aspiration to reach Sant Joan with the best records.
Long -term projects
In addition, Inglès has set itself as a goal to work on the 3de10 with lining and handles, a castle that was loaded last year during the feast of Santa Úrsula, with a view to the celebration of Sant Fèlix.
A new chapter in the presidency
Marc Paris, who takes over from Ian Gallart to the presidency, is committed to recovering the presence of the gang in spaces where he has lost influence in recent seasons. With their team, they have already set up to establish the strategic lines that will guide the gang during their term.
