New second-hand shop in Manlleu managed by the Areté Foundation

A new responsible shopping option

At number 69 of Carrer Arnald de Corcó de Manlleu, a second-hand shop managed by the Areté Foundation has recently opened, offering a wide range of items including furniture, home furnishings, books and decorative elements, among others .

A contribution to sustainability and employment

The items that will be on sale come from home collections made by Areté and donations from the public. This initiative seeks to promote more responsible consumption and raise awareness of reuse as a sustainable model.

The store has created job opportunities for three residents of Manlleu with mental health problems, contributing to social inclusion and the generation of employment for this group.

Recognition by local authorities

The mayor of Manlleu, Arnau Rovira, emphasized during the inauguration that this establishment has great added value, supporting the work of the Areté Foundation in promoting employment for people with mental health problems and strengthening continuous collaboration with the city council.
