Normality in Catalan prisons without blockades by officials

Catalan prisons are operating normally

According to sources from the Department of Justice, Catalan prisons are operating normally this Tuesday. Prison officials have not staged any protests or blocked access, as they did in previous days.

Past protests and demonstration in Plaça Sant Jaume

The protests of prison officials began last Friday in rejection of the death of a cook in Mas d’Enric prison. These protests were repeated on Saturday in Quatre Camins i Joves and Wad-ras, and were generalized to all Catalan prisons on Monday. However, the protests were not repeated this Tuesday and the workers are preparing a demonstration in Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona for this Wednesday.
