On May 2 at 7:00 p.m., a conference will be held on Picasso’s connection with Catalonia, where he lived during his youth and later regularly visited places such as Barcelona, ​​Horta de Sant Joan, Gósol or Cadaqués . This talk, by Sebastià Sánchez, art historian, offers a sentimental tour of the spaces where Picasso lived during his stays in Catalonia, a more biographical than artistic approach.

Summer of Love Reading Club by Toni Orensanz

On May 25 at 7:00 p.m., a book club will be held on the novel L’Estiu de l’Amor by Toni Orensanz, which tells the story of Picasso’s relationship with the young French woman Fernande Olivier in Horta de Sant Joan on 1909. The author will be present to share details about his work.
