Key pre -registration dates in Catalonia
The school pre-enrollment period has been officially announced for the 2025-2026 course in Catalonia, with Barcelona as a main focus. The registration can be performed both online and in person in the eight offices of the Barcelona Education Consortium.
General information on the pre -registration process
The following dates are presented most relevant for pre -registration in the various educational stages, including early childhood education, primary, ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (FP).
Pre -registration for Early Childhood and Primary Education
This stage includes children between the ages of three and twelve. The dates are as follows:
Pre -registration calendar
Applications may be submitted online from March 12 to 26. The provisional list with the scores will be published on April 24. In the event of a tiebreaker, a draw will be held on May 8 at 11 am, followed by the publication of the list ordered on May 9. Finally, the lists of admitted and waiting students will be announced on June 16, and the enrollment must be formalized between June 25 and July 3.
Pre -registration for Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)
For ESO, the application submission period runs from March 14 to 26. The provisional list will be announced on April 24, with a draw for tiebreaker on May 8. The lists of admitted and waiting will be published on June 16, with the same registration period from June 25 to July 3.
Baccalaureate and Vocational Training: Dates to take into account
The information regarding the pre -enrollment for the Baccalaureate will be announced from March 10, while the details on vocational training will be available from March 15.
Draw of tiebrea
The tie -break draw is a crucial moment in the process, scheduled for May 8. This draw applies to applications that obtain the same score, helping to determine who obtains a place in the centers with high demand.
Open doors and support for families
To facilitate the election process, the Education Consortium has implemented a search engine that allows access to the open door calendar of the different schools and institutes. In addition, in February, informative sessions will be held for families with children starting school at I3 next year.
