A day dedicated to psychology in sports
On Friday, March 7, the Catllar community will be the scene of a special event that will bring to the expert in sports psychology Pep Marí. This initiative, organized by the City Council of Catllar, together with the Sport Table, will take place at the Teatre del Cultural Cultural, where Marí will share his vast 28 years experience at the Sant Cugat High Performance Center.
Sessions focused on integral training
With the aim of improving the understanding of sports psychology, talks are designed for coaches, family and athletes. This day aims to provide useful tools that will help promote both sports and emotional well -being.
Schedules and topics of talks
The first session will begin at 16:30, focused on coaches. Pep Marí will address key issues such as the correct correctness of athletes and the management of exceptions within a group, with the aim of improving the dynamics of work and communication.
At 18:20, the focus will move to families, with a talk entitled “Being only a father”. This session invites reflection on the influence of family emotional support in the sports field.
Finally, at 21:40, there will be a session dedicated to athletes, addressing topics such as competition and mental and physical preparation. Marí will share strategies on “learning to train” and “learn to compete”.

The Mayor of the Catllar, Xavier Canadell, emphasized the importance of this day, emphasizing that it seeks to equip the sports community with resources that promote both success in sport and personal life.
