A year of successes in professional orientation
The Professional Orientation of Mas Ribagorçana concluded 2024 with a notable participation of 917 people, of which 60% were women. This service has evolved to become an essential resource that facilitates access to employment, supports the work search and guides individuals in the selection of educational trajectories.
Commitment to employability: words of a leader
Òscar Subrats, councilor in charge of company, training and employment, underlines the commitment of more Ribagorçana for offering inclusive job opportunities. Since its creation in 1989, this service has been a pioneer in the city and has stood out for the dedication of its team, which has received high valuations for its personalized attention.
Outstanding programs and results achieved
Among the most prominent initiatives are the programs financed by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia, which also receive support from the Ministry of Labor and the European Social Fund. These programs combine individual and group sessions, covering from training to job search techniques, and have made 179 people, of which 57.5% were women, would find work in 2024, reaching an insertion rate of 49%.

The implemented programs include work search spaces, aimed at individuals with knowledge of Catalan and Spanish, as well as the labor insertion device focused on specific communities. In addition, L’Orienta, who had its first edition at the Migjorn Civic Center, has contributed to the diversity of available resources.

More Ribagorçana also provided permanent services of academic orientation, work and accreditation of competences, benefiting 478 people. Likewise, the guidance and Spanish workshops have been fundamental, with a total of 52 workshops that attracted 342 participants and telematic support sessions that provided 521 visits.
Looking to the future: expectations for 2025
Facing 2025, more Ribagorçana plans to continue with its successful strategies. To date, 536 people have registered, with 40% of them participating in programs that have already achieved a 30% job insertion. In addition, the active space has expanded its scope at the Levante Civic Center, receiving 223 people in 357 visits.
