This initiative also arises in response to statements by Vox’s parliamentary spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas, who recently stated that residents cannot expect to enjoy the beaches in July or August as they used to do in previous years. Given this, the ‘Mallorca Playa Tour’ movement has decided to fill the beaches to show that they are not willing to give up and that they have the right to enjoy their natural environment.
