An education that is close and adapted to individual needs
The institute in Constanța is preparing for a new course which will have new features regarding Erasmus+ mobility, and which will continue with its great training offer. IES Pare Arques de Cocentaina is in the final stretch of its course. The high school students are already preparing for the EBAU tests, and the rest are finishing their exams, which will culminate in end-of-year trips to Aqualand, or to the municipal swimming pool of Cocentaina in order to spend refreshing days. Even so, the management team does not stop, and is already working towards the next academic year.
Open enrollment for Professional Training cycles
The registration period for the Professional Training cycles is now open, from May 24; and regarding High School and ESO, it will open on June 4.
News for next year
To find out what the next year will be like, the vice-director, Alejandro Barber, has been commenting that the main innovation will be that there will be a new Erasmus+ mobility that will be dedicated to the teaching staff, and that will aim to learn educational methodologies that promote inclusion and the diversity This will not be the only exchange, and the fact is that students and teachers will continue to have these experiences, where they can learn about other cultures, and see how they work in other European countries. This year, some Vocational Training students were able to travel to Prague, and soon, a teacher will be in Belgium doing another project.
An innovative physical education
Another of the novelties of the 2024-2025 academic year is that the facilities will incorporate a calisthenics circuit for physical education classes: “I think it’s something that is very fashionable and that can be very interesting for students”. In addition, the teaching staff is working on devising new educational innovation projects.
A varied and quality educational offer
As Barber has commented, IES Pare Arques has a very important advantage and that is that it is a small center, but with a large amount of educational offer: “We can give personalized attention, which costs more in larger centers. In addition, we have a very wide range of Vocational Training, with courses in high demand by the industries, and we also have humanistic, social and scientific-technological high school diplomas. In short, we are a center with a very varied educational offer, but above all, quality”.
