A new chapter for adventure cinema
On May 22, the city of Reus will make the history of hosting the prestigious Banff Center Mountain Film Festival World Tour, one of the most significant film events dedicated to adventure, mountain and extreme sports.

The Auditorium-Teatre Sala Santa Llúcia will be the scene of a careful curator of short films and medometers that explore authentic stories of exploration and overcoming, as well as the connection with nature in its purest state. This festival is not just a film exhibition; It is a tribute to the adventurous spirit and a reminder of the commitment to the preservation of the environment.

With more than 600 screenings in 45 countries, the Banff World Tour has established itself as a benchmark for adventure and extreme cinema enthusiasts. Conference and prominent projections
The day promises to be memorable with a conference by Jordi Solans Canes, a mountaineer expert who will share his vision on climbing and the importance of learning in natural environments. In addition, at 7.30 pm, you can enjoy the official section of the BCMFF, which will include prominent titles such as ‘Of a Lifetime’, which tells a family history in Antarctica, and ‘Ian’, which explores the limits of age and physical condition through the experiences of a 72 -year -old climber.
Unique photo exhibition
As a complement to the festival, attendees will be able to visit the photographic exhibition ‘Himalaya Canyons’ at the GR7 Outdoor shop, which presents the work of the canyon Fernando Caro. His pictures capture the splendor of waterfalls in the midst of remote landscapes of the Himalayas, offering an impressive view of these virgin environments.
