A festival that celebrates vermouth
Currently, Turin has become the nerve center of vermouth, hosting the Vérmut Festival! Il Festival Dei Vermouth. This celebration, which extends until April 14, brings together lovers of aromatic drink, and the city of Reus participates as a special guest.
Reus: European Vermouth Heritage
Reus, recognized as the second European city with a rich tradition in the production of vermouth, is presenting its story at an event that highlights the cultural roots of this significant drink for our identity.
A Dialogue between Cultures
On Friday, the presentation called “Stories, Roads and Culture of Vermouth” will be held at Cafè Torino, one of the most emblematic establishments in Turin. In addition to Reus, Dolin, a renowned Chambéry Vermouth producer, and Turin Tourism representatives, as well as the Region’s Historical Café Association.
Round table: Exchange of experiences
After the presentation, a round table will be held where participants will share their experiences and perspectives on the culture of vermouth in France, Italy and Spain, fostering an enriching dialogue.
The European Route of Vermouth: A project underway
This event marks the beginning of the European Vermouth Route, a project in which Reus Promotion has been working to create synergies between the cities producing vermouth. This initiative seeks to enhance vermouth as a tool for mutual promotion among our cultures.
Growth opportunities
According to Noemí Llauradó, Councilor for the City Projection, the formalization of this European network opens new opportunities for Reus, both in the inogastronomic and cultural and historical fields, allowing to highlight the quality and heritage of the city.
Looking to the future
In order to strengthen his position on the European Vermouth Map, Reus is heading for a new stage of promotion that will not only benefit his image, but also contribute to the recognition of the common cultural heritage between the cities that share this rich tradition.
