Roser: An Authentic Diva in Personal and Professional Renaissance

A Musical Journey Full of Challenges

Roser rose to fame on the Popstars talent show in the early 2000s, an event that marked the beginning of a musical career full of vicissitudes. Despite the fact that recently her presence has focused more on theater and live shows than on musical releases, the Canet de Mar singer continues to captivate her audience, who wonder what has become of her life two decades after her debut in the world of entertainment.

Reflections on the Inner Diva

In an intimate interview with Diez Minutos magazine, Roser addressed a question that often generates debate: does she consider herself a diva? With sincerity, she answered in the affirmative: “I’m a diva too and I recognize my moments. The word diva has been associated with arrogance, but that’s not how I see it. On stage, it is essential to have confidence and a certain ego, but always with humility.”

The Search for Projects and the Loneliness of the Artist

Roser shares that his career has been a constant search for meaningful projects. After a period of great success with a multinational, he experienced a stage of loneliness and bewilderment: “I began to realize how hard the industry is, how easy it is to fall and hard to get up, and how some people they play with your hopes.”

The Passage of Time and Insecurities

Over the years, Roser has reflected on his position in the sector. Despite his strength and character, he has had moments of doubt: “The years pass, and you question whether you are in the right place. Even if it’s safe, we all have our insecurities.”

Fight Against Masculinity

Roser celebrates progress in the fight against sexism in the music industry. However, she remembers the unpleasant experiences she has had, including a scandalous offer that made her feel objectified: “I have been offered things that show great disrespect. I have learned that fame is not eternal, and that life does not give you anything.”

An Inseparable Team: Love and Work

For more than two decades, Roser has shared his life and career with choreographer Joel García del Río. She considers him an exceptional partner, with whom she shares both love and work: “Our relationship is based on mutual respect and personal space, although our arguments are common because we are both very passionate.”

Overcoming Adversity Together

Over the years, they have faced financial difficulties, but always with an optimistic attitude: “He reminds me that, regardless of adversity, the most important thing is that we are together as a family. We always find a way to laugh and get up after difficult times.”
