A pioneering project in renewable energy
Sant Fruitós de Bages will be the setting for a revolutionary project in the field of solar energy in Catalonia. It is an innovative solar park that will be the first to benefit from the REER (Renewable Energy Economic Regime) tariff in the region. This photovoltaic installation, with a power of 2.93 MWp, will be located in the Cal Simonet farm area and is expected to be at full capacity by the end of the year.
Priority for local residents and businesses
Residents, companies and institutions of Sant Fruitós, Bages and central Catalonia will have priority in investing in this project. This means that they will have the opportunity to participate in this initiative and earn an annual return of 6.5% over a period of 5 years. Interest payments will be quarterly and investors can invest from 500 euros.
Collaboration between different actors
This innovative project is the result of collaboration between several entities. The independent energy producer Aspiravi, with the support of the municipal shareholders of the Flanders region, is the promoter of this initiative. In addition, they have had the collaboration of Km0 Energy, a company specializing in local and decentralized renewable energy projects, and Fundeen, a participatory co-investment platform in renewable energy projects.
Official presentation of the project
The official presentation of this revolutionary project will take place today at 2/4 of 8 in the multipurpose room of the NEXE – Espai de Cultura in Sant Fruitós de Bages. In this event, the promoters of the project, the Aspiravi Group, the Fundeen platform and representatives of the town hall and the business association of Sant Fruitós will be present.

This innovative solar park represents an important step towards the transition to cleaner and more sustainable energies. The mayor of Sant Fruitós, Joan Carles Batanés, celebrates this installation and highlights the importance of clean energy in the present and the future. In addition, he points out that this project complies with the relevant regulations and authorizations and fits with the urban modifications made by the city council.

With an investment of 600,000 euros, this solar park will benefit almost five million people, as well as companies and public institutions in the area.
