A Journey Through Knowledge
From November 18 to 29, the Alcoi Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia will become an epicenter of science and knowledge. In this 21st edition of Science Week, a series of activities have been scheduled that seek to bring research and knowledge closer to the community.
Conferences that Inspire
The event opened with a captivating keynote address by Alfonso Crespo Lorente, who explored the new economic opportunities emerging around the space. The following day, Luis Rojas Marcos addressed a highly relevant topic: mental health in Spain, providing a critical and informative perspective.
Various and Current Topics
During the week, attendees will be able to enjoy lectures ranging from human evolution with Clara Grima Ruiz to cybersecurity with Santiago Escobar Román. These sessions not only inform, but also encourage debate and reflection on fundamental issues in today’s world.
Practical and Experiential Activities
On Saturday 23rd, those interested will be able to participate in an archaeology and viticulture activity with expert Ignasi Grau Mira, which promises to be an enriching experience, combining theory and practice. Participants will be able to explore the past and learn about the importance of viticulture in our culture.
The Week Continues
The second week will begin with a talk by Ángel A. Juan Pérez, focused on the influence of artificial intelligence in our lives. The lectures will continue with David Pastor Vico, who will offer a generational critique, and Giovanni Luca Carollo, who will take attendees on a space journey.
Closing with Reflection
To conclude this intense week of knowledge, Fernando Valladares Ros will reflect on the health of humanity, a topic that resonates with the urgency of our times. All activities will take place in the Saló de Graus Roberto García Payá during the afternoons, inviting everyone to participate and learn.
