Spain and other nations urgently advise to abandon Lebanon

A Call to Action: Immediate Abandonment of Lebanon

The Spanish Government has issued new recommendations on security in Lebanon, stressing the need for Spanish citizens in the country to leave the territory as soon as possible. This warning comes in a climate of growing instability and is reflected in the official document published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Flight Operations and Enhanced Safety

Given the recent suspension of flights to and from Lebanon, Spanish authorities suggest that those who have scheduled trips contact their airlines to be aware of any changes. For its part, the Spanish Embassy in Beirut has recommended following its updates through digital platforms to be informed about the situation.

High Risk Regions

The Ministry has also identified particularly dangerous areas, such as the south of the Litani River and the Bekaa region, where the risks of violence are high. Spaniards in the country are urged to be alert to security missions by local authorities.

An International Crisis in Progress

Tensions in the region have escalated, especially between the armed group Hezbollah and Israel, whose offensive has resulted in numerous casualties since the crisis began on October 7. Statistics from the Lebanese Ministry of Health indicate that Israeli attacks have left 490 dead and more than 1,500 wounded.

Global Solidarity: Other Nations Respond

France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Sweden and Jordan have also urged their citizens to leave Lebanon as soon as possible. These nations highlight the volatility of the situation and suggest taking advantage of available flights before air travel is restricted.

Reflections for the Future

The situation in Lebanon shows how a conflict can transcend borders and require coordinated responses from the international community. As the crisis continues, it is crucial that citizens remain calm, follow the guidance of their governments and put safety first.
