Spring castles: new milestones and traditions revived

The start of the castellera season

With the arrival of the Spring Meteorological, the castellers groups have begun to show their potential with spectacular releases. A total of 34 formations have reached new heights, highlighting the first 7 of the season, made by the Castellers de Vilafranca, and six groups who have achieved the dreaded eight floors. Also noteworthy was the debut of the first castle of 6 by the Castellers de Toulouse, an Occitan group that is consolidating.

Prominent castles and news

The Castellers de Vilafranca lead with an impressive 7de8, while other groups have achieved the same ceilings, including the Capgrossos de Mataró with their 4de8 and 2de7. The Moixiganguers de Igualada, as well as the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls, have also added 8 castles, demonstrating their strength. In addition, the Castellers de Sants have surprised a 4de8, and the Colla Castellera Jove de Barcelona has opened the season with a 4de8 morning.

In addition, four groups have won their first castles of 7: Castellers de Esplugues, the Colla Castellera de l’Alt Maresme, the boys of the Tower and the Castellers de Mollet, reflecting a season of new opportunities.

A promising initiator in the high gamma of 6
