Strategic Alliance for the Digitalization of SMEs in South Catalonia

A new age for South Catalonia SMEs

The Reus Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the ICT Cluster South, has established an innovative agreement that will transform access to digital services for small and medium -sized businesses, as well as for freelancers, through the creation of a double headquarters from the Pyme (OAP) acelera office.

Strategic locations for efficient service

The services will be provided from two key locations: the main headquarters of the Chamber, located on Boule Street, and the modern Redessa Tecno facilities, located within the Tecnoparc Technology and Innovation Park. This double headquarters will allow a wider and more effective coverage in the five counties that cover the cameral field: Baix Camp, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Ribera d’Ebre and Terra Alta.

A program funded by the European Union

The agreement is part of the Acelera Pyme Office program, an initiative promoted by Red.es and the Chamber of Spain, with the financial support of the Nextgenerationeu Funds of the European Union. This program aims to promote the digital transformation of companies, an increasingly urgent need today.

Activities planned for 2025

Through this collaboration, the ICT Cluster Catalonia South will play an essential role in the execution of activities scheduled for 2025, which include personalized advice, awareness -raising workshops and the generation of training digital content. These actions will be crucial to help companies adapt to new technologies.

Mario Basora, President of the Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the relevance of having local agents such as the ICT Cluster, which can offer high quality services and adapted to the needs of companies in the territory.

Josep Baiges, Councilor for Economic Promotion of the City Council of Reus, has stated that the installation of the Pyme Acelera Office in Redessa is an important step in making this service accessible throughout the business ecosystem in the area.
