Success of the Empordà Music Festival in La Bisbal

A Festival That Attracts Thousands of People

The third edition of the Empordà Music Festival, located in La Bisbal d’Empordà, has managed to sell out, despite having increased its capacity to 8,500 attendees. This year, the event has been expanded in duration, space and services, offering a cultural lineup that will extend over two days, with the presence of prominent groups and DJs such as Oques Grasses, Figa Flawas, Els Catarres, La Fúmiga and Coconut.

Start of the Festival with Music and Activities

The festivities will begin on Friday, July 26 at 7 p.m. with free concerts, where there will also be a variety of food trucks, a craft exhibition, bar service and performances by artists such as Pelat i Pelut, Flashy Ice Cream, Alaire and Ven’nus, all in the location of Paseo Marimon Asprer and in the old football field.

Saturday’s Main Event

For Saturday, July 27, the organizing team has called this day “the big day,” starting at 5 p.m. and continuing until the early hours of the morning. This day renowned groups such as Oques Grasses, Els Catarres, Figa Flawas, La Fúmiga, Coco will perform, as well as DJ Carles Pérez from Ràdio Flaixbac, who repeats as the official station for the second year, and DJ Dolça.

Growth and Collaborations

This year, the festival has transitioned from a single-day event to a two-day event, significantly improving venues for both the festival and concert floor. It has evolved from a “small” festival to a large one, increasing the number of food vans and bars, in addition to having new collaborations with local entities such as Club Bisbal Bàsquet and Colla Sense Vàlvules.

Innovation in Connectivity

To cope with the growth of the festival, the telecommunications company Vera, one of the sponsors, has decided to install a fiber optic network that will improve connectivity at the venue. As in other festivals such as Vida and Cruïlla, Vera’s participation is part of its “Arrelats al Territori” project, which reinforces the company’s commitment to culture and local development. Through this initiative, support for Catalan traditions and culture is promoted, investing in activities that are aligned with its identity.
