Arrest of the Alleged Aggressor
Near the Córdoba bus station, the National Police arrested the individual suspected of attacking a woman in the Fuensanta neighborhood last Wednesday. According to reports from the Cope network and confirmation from the National Police, the arrest took place on Thursday around 10:30 p.m.
Incident Details
The victim, a 31-year-old woman, suffered injuries to her arms, legs and face in an alleged attack in a home on Wednesday afternoon. The alleged aggressor, a man of about 20 years of age and of foreign nationality, was being sought since the day of the incident.
Breach of the Restraining Order
It was revealed that the alleged aggressor had breached a restraining order, as reported by the Government’s deputy delegate in Córdoba, Ana López. Although she did not have telematic measures, a medium-level risk for the woman had been identified.
Current Status of the Detainee and the Victim
The detained individual is currently in police custody, waiting to appear before the judicial authorities. On the other hand, the victim was discharged from the Reina Sofía hospital on Wednesday, after receiving medical attention.
